Saving money – one small story.

Here is an example of how with looking at something from the outside both an expedited solution and considerable savings were had.

Cafeterias are high traffic areas. The one at my workplace the countertop was worn out and the sink leaking – the front of the countertop worn thin.  Landlord was notified and offered a quote to replace the counter top etc in excess of $3000.00. This discussion had been on-going for some time until I heard about it.

What to do?

A trip to local lumber/do it yourself store and a length of counter top, a sink and faucet and within a day no more leaks and no more mopping up.

Total cost? Less than $400.00.
